As the German Ambassador to Singapore I am looking forward to promoting German-Singaporean bilateral relations in the coming years. 
 

The state of political, economic, cultural and scientific relations between Germany and Singapore is excellent. I see it as a challenge to further strengthen these relations. The  deployment of a Scientific Counsellor since 2008 is the basis for intensifying cooperation in science, research and technology.

Germany remains Singapore’s most important trading partner in the European Union and Singapore is Germany’s most important trading partner among the ASEAN-states. Singapore, as the most important economic center and hub of the region, will remain a special focus in our continued expansion of the traditionally close and varied economic relations between our two countries.
