Recents events by the German Embassy
On 17th May 2013, a team of French and German diplomats and businessmen faced a Singaporean team composed of Members of Parliament on the football pitch at Jalan Besar stadium. The match was the first of this kind in the history of trilateral relations between France, Germany and Singapore. Find out which team won the match.
To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Elysée Treaty, a treaty of friendship between France and Germany, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) was holding a Public Lecture on 21 January 2013. The event was jointly organised by the French and German Embassies and NTU. The aim of the lecture was to highlight the scientific and educational bonds between France and Germany. During the Public Lectures, Nobel Laureates Professor Albert Fert from France and Professor Hartmut Michel from Germany spoke on Information Technology and Biofuels respectively, topics which are relevant to today’s economy and the future.
